Was born in 1951.
In 1973 graduated from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering.
In 1973–1999 served as chief project engineer at the Project, Design, and Technology Bureau for Automated Control Systems in Railway Transport.
In 1999–2007 deputy department director at the Barybino branch of the Research Institute for IT and Communications in Railway Transport.
From 2007 to 2014 was chief technologist at the Project, Design, and Technology Bureau for Information Technology of Russian Railways.
Since 2014 has served as chief project engineer at the Project, Design, and Technology Bureau for Information Technology of Russian Railways.
